Weightage Distribution Breakdown (Total 50 Marks)

The total merit score is calculated out of 50 marks. Here is how the weightage is distributed across different categories:

  • Madhyamik (MP) Score: **5 Marks**
  • Higher Secondary (HS) Score: **10 Marks**
  • Training (D.El.Ed) Score: **15 Marks**
  • TET Score: **5 Marks**
  • Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA): **5 Marks**
  • Viva-Voce / Interview: **5 Marks**
  • Aptitude Test / Teaching Experience: **5 Marks**

How the Academic Score is Calculated

For your academic marks (Madhyamik, HS, Training), the score is normalized to the maximum weightage using the following formula:

(Obtained Marks / Full Marks) × Specific Weightage = Weighted Score

For example, if you scored 600 out of 800 in Higher Secondary (Full Marks = 800, Weightage = 10), your score would be: $(600 / 800) \times 10 = 7.5$. The calculator automatically ensures you cannot score more than the allocated weight for any section, even if you enter incorrect marks.
