Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying for the IBPS SO Recruitment 2025 must meet the following eligibility criteria as of July 1, 2025:
1. Nationality/Citizenship:
A Citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lan
ka, East African countries, etc., with the intention of permanently settling in India.
2. Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
(Candidates must have been born not earlier than July 2, 1995, and not later than July 1, 2005, both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation: Applicable for reserved categories as per government rules (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years, Ex-Servicemen: as per rules).
3. Educational Qualification (Post-wise - as of July 21, 2025):
IT Officer (Scale I): 4-year Engineering/Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation. OR Post Graduate Degree in relevant fields. OR Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level.

Selection Process:
The IBPS SO Recruitment 2025 selection process involves three main stages:
Preliminary Examination: An online objective test. Marks obtained in the Prelims will only be for shortlisting and will not be counted in the final merit list.
Main Examination: An online objective test focusing on professional knowledge. Marks obtained in the Mains will be considered for shortlisting for the interview and for the final merit list.
Interview: Conducted by the participating banks and coordinated by IBPS. The final merit list will be based on the combined scores of the Main Examination and Interview (80:20 weightage respectively).
