The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the official notification for Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-9). Candidates can apply for around 3500 Nursing Officer posts in AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS across India.
📌 Important Dates
- Application Start Date: 22 July 2025
- Last Date to Apply: 11 August 2025
- Prelims Exam Date (Stage I): 14 September 2025 (Sunday)
- Mains Exam Date (Stage II): 27 September 2025 (Saturday)

🎓 Essential Qualifications
Category I:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University OR
- B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University
- Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council
OR
Category II:
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council
- Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council
- Two years' experience in a 50-bedded hospital after obtaining the qualification
Note: Experience must be acquired after registration and declaration of result by Nursing Council.
🎯 Age Limit
- 18–30 years (for all AIIMS)
- Age relaxation as per govt rules
- Age counted on last date of application submission
💰 Application Fee
- General/OBC: ₹3000/-
- SC/ST/EWS: ₹2400/-
- Persons with Disabilities: Exempted
Note: Application Fees of SC/ST candidates who appear in the Examination will be refunded after the declaration of results in due course of time after verification SC/ST certificate to be uploaded at a later stage.
